Cascade Inn is located approximately 2.5 miles from the center of town on the ocean side of Halibut Point Road . The Inn is on the grounds of a large Convenience Store offering snacks, spirits, groceries, sundries and gasoline. There is a laundry room available for our guests' use as well as a small gift shop located in the hotel office.

Like no other city in Southeast Alaska , Sitka takes advantage of both the open Pacific Ocean and the secrets of the famed Inside Passage. Although Sitka is a modern city, the downtown business and historic districts are built on the same streets and paths used by Russian colonists and Tlingit villagers. The fourth largest city in Alaska , Sitka has a population of approximately 8,800 people with a relatively mild climate, ranging from an average 34 degrees in January to a 61-degree average in July.

The Cascade Inn is Sitka 's only true oceanfront hotel and we're the closest to the ferry terminal.
