Alaska is known for its great fishing. Halibut up here commonly weigh in the hundreds of pounds and salmon can be as big as small children. Sitka , well known for its Chinook and Sockeye runs, has some great halibut fishing as well. Come spend a day on one of our charters; chances are you won't go home disappointed. ![]() |
Sitka 's proximity to the Gulf of Alaska allows our guests access to fishing grounds only dreamed of in many other Alaskan fishing ports. Sitka Sound is literally a roadside stop for millions of salmon on their seasonal migration back to their home streams and rivers up and down the coast. Halibut and countless bottom fish also crowd the feed-rich shallows surrounding Sitka creating a fisherman's paradise.
All rates are based on an 8-10 hour (dock to dock) Day of fishing. Shared charters are for parties of three or less and designed for those of you who don't mind sharing a boat with another party. Parties of four or more will not be mixed with other parties. Each full-day charter includes a light lunch, snacks and beverages so you don't have to think about anything but fishing. Charters depart the dock between 5A.M. and 6A.M. |
